Jiva is seeking a Senior Growth Analyst with extensive experience in analysing product usage data, transaction information, and marketing performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cohort analysis, report creation, SQL, and dashboard development. This role will involve leading a junior team member and driving data-driven business decisions within the growth team.
As a Senior Growth Analyst in the Growth Analytics team you will focus on supporting Growth and Operations stakeholders in their decision-making, and be a key contact person regarding data and analytics questions. This team regularly will also regularly work alongside the Data Science team. Your experience with Growth analytics and related technologies, together with your excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills, will have a big impact on the company’s performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide insightful analyses to optimise marketing campaigns and channel targeting and efficiency.
• Translate business questions into meaningful analytics for your stakeholders via multiple Growth channels.
• Regularly generate insights, dashboards, lift tests, A/B test analyses, impact reports, and visualisation.
• Utilise various databases and querying/programming languages, including SQL, to access, manipulate, and present the data needed.
• Improve Jiva’s approach to Growth Analytics, bringing key analytical insight to various levels across the organisation.
• Analyse data from product usage and transactions to identify common behaviour patterns, potential problem areas, and growth opportunities.
• Perform cohort analysis to track and evaluate the performance of different user segments.
• Use tools such as Mixpanel, Metabase, and Clevertap to create detailed product usage reports.
• Lead and mentor a junior data analyst, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and contributions.

Competencies

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
• Expertise in SQL and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Metabase, Clevertap).
• Proven ability to create and interpret actionable reports and dashboards.
• Experience in analyzing marketing performance and providing channel recommendations.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience working in startup environments, particularly in product marketing analysis
• Native Bahasa Indonesia speaker, and strong “professional/business” English language proficiency (written and spoken)

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in Growth Marketing Analytics or any of the following domains: Data Analytics/Business Analytics/Marketing Analytics/Product Analytics/Data Science
• 5-7 years of experience in data analytics and statistical modelling
• A degree in Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or similar quantitative discipline
• Experience with growth marketing analytics and testing (lift tests, campaign analytics, channel efficiency, AB testing)
• Expertise in SQL, Python & bigquery
• Expertise in building dashboards, we use Metabase, Mixpanel, and CleverTap. Other tooling is also acceptable as well.
• Experience in performing analysis with large datasets and knowing what the common pitfalls are
• Experience in statistical modeling, regression, clustering, time series etc
• Preferably experience in working with web analytics (Google Analytics, Meta AA, ADH etc.)
• Any team management experience, mentoring or managing 1-2 analyst is good to have
• Marketing or product related experience
• Analytical and critical thinking combined with good presentation and communication skills
• Strong problems solving skills and hands-on & can-do attitude
• Ability to work independently
