Category Manager – Seed

KTI Talent Indicator is a talent discovery software platform with AI that offers: talent mapping, assessment, and reskilling services with training to companies. We are looking for a Category Manager to play a critical role in driving business success by strategically managing and developing a pesticide product category. This includes analyzing market trends, understanding customer preferences and collaborating with various internal departments to maximize sales and profitability.

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia

Functions

• Develop category strategy in line with business objectives.

• Conduct market research for growth opportunities.

• Determine product assortment based on trends and preferences.

• Collaborate with vendors for diverse product offerings.

• Optimize inventory levels to meet demand efficiently.

• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate terms.

• Plan promotions and pricing strategies for sales goals.

• Collaborate cross-functionally for seamless execution.

• Support product launches and marketing campaigns.

• Monitor competitor pricing and market trends.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

• Proven 5-7 years experience in category management, product management, or a related field especially in agriculture company.

• In-depth understanding of the industry, market trends, and consumer behavior related to the pesticide product category.

• Ability to think strategically and develop longterm plans for the growth and success of the assigned product category.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance.

• Familiarity with relevant technology, including inventory management systems, data analytics tools, and other software used in category management

• Should have professional working-level proficiency in English.
