Functional Responsibility:

Ensuring meticulous control over flight plans and flight progress to uphold flight safety, as well as to facilitate efficient and effective operations.

Role Responsibility:

  • Enhancing the AirAsia brand image and fostering customer advocacy.
  • Embracing and embodying the AirAsia culture while adhering to desired behaviors.
  • Committing to ongoing self-development and training to fulfill assigned responsibilities.

Functional Duties:

  • Continuously monitoring and analyzing weather conditions to guarantee flight safety.
  • Timely dissemination of essential information, including weather forecasts, to the flight crew to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Vigilantly monitoring the progress of each flight to prevent disruptions.
  • Developing and verifying flight plans, encompassing route planning, destination alternates, payload considerations, and more, to ensure accuracy.
  • Regularly checking the Minimum Equipment List (MEL) to ensure aircraft performance and coordinating with maintenance teams.
  • Assessing the serviceability of airport runways and navigational facilities.
  • Communicating delays or disruptions to stations, departments, and agencies promptly to mitigate the impact.
  • Analyzing flight progress and making informed decisions regarding flight cancellations or re-dispatches.

Traits:

  • Profound understanding of airline operations.
  • Familiar with NAVTECH Flight Planning System.
  • Understand the AIMS Crew Management System.
  • Skilled in SITA Flight Following System.

Minimum Working Experience:

  • 2-3 years of minimum experience in a related field.
  • Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply

Education:

  • Minimum high school graduate, a Bachelors Degree from any major is preferable

Professional Qualifications:

  • Holder of FOO License Rated A320, demonstrating expertise in flight operations.
