Summary:

The work schedule for this position is:


  • Full Time (40 hours per week)


Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (4 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Under the supervision of the IPO, the Telephone Operations Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of (8) telephone operators. Incumbent ensures the switchboard is adequately staffed 24/7 365 days a year and manages a large, complex centralized switchboard serving over 1400 mission employees with sixteen agencies including constituent posts in Surabaya, Medan and Bali. Incumbent is responsible for quality customer service and interpretation services for embassy and tenant agencies. Incumbent must be able to work without direct American supervision and provide first echelon emergency communications for Mission Jakarta.


Qualifications and Evaluations Requirements:

EXPERIENCE: Must have minimum of three (3) years of general office or customer service working experience, plus one year in supervisory position.


Education Requirements:

Mandatory: Minimum a high school graduate is required.


Evaluations:

LANGUAGE: Good working knowledge of English and fluent of Bahasa Indonesia is required. This may be tested.

For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.


The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
