About the role
The Student Recruitment Advisor (SRA) is responsible for pipeline management and advising prospective students of their future study options in Indonesia on behalf of Navitas for Curtin College and Curtin Singapore. You will provide critical pipeline reporting and managing various referrals and inquiries. This role requires building rapport and viable networks with potential students and parents.
To be successful, the SRA will have demonstrated experience to handle objections and overturn them via superior negotiation skills and closing techniques. The ability to communicate confidently, build rapport and be mindful of culturally sensitive situations and environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operationalize the Curtin College and Curtin Singapore Strategic Marketing Plans in the relevant territory in collaboration with the regional and divisional teams.
- Participate in all sales activities including, but not limited to, training, events, student conversion, and troubleshooting for all products within Curtin College and Curtin Singapore
- Support in coordination and evaluation of the student marketing and recruitment strategies, campaigns, and promotional activities, including joint activities with university partners.
- Handle student inquiries and manage leads.
- Ensure complete and accurate reporting of all activities on the CRM.
- Support in pre-departure process with channel partners and students.
- Engage with the college marketing teams to ensure appropriate sales collaterals are available and utilized across regional management and channel partner networks.
- Support in market research including employment, vocational and product trends.
- Support the Student Recruitment Manager with market insight and accurate sales forecasts through regular and detailed reports to the colleges.
- Support in executing divisional and college focused sales and marketing activities in the market.
- Support colleges in pipeline management and market partner engagement.
- Ability to travel locally and internationally if required.
Job requirements
- Tertiary level qualifications with at least two years’ work experience in international education.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience working in the International Education sector to develop sales and recruitment strategies that deliver against agreed student targets.
- High level interpersonal, communication, negotiation and presentation skills including business level written and oral capability in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Ability to take responsibility for decisions and outcomes.
- Capacity to work effectively within a matrix structure, with focus on collaborating with and influencing various stakeholders.
- Flexible attitude to work including a willingness to work outside of normal office hours in support of recruitment activities both locally and internationally.
- Ability to meet targets within defined timelines among changing priorities.
- Experience in building and managing internal and external relationships, particularly with agents.
