Assembly and Production Manager

Job Description

Oversee daily assembly and production operations to ensure timely and efficient production of EVs, develop and implement production schedules, and coordinate with procurement, logistics, and quality assurance teams for smooth workflow.

Lead, mentor, and develop assembly line workers, supervisors, and technicians, conduct training sessions, and foster a positive work environment.

Implement and monitor quality control processes, address and resolve quality issues, and conduct regular audits and inspections. Identify and implement process improvements, apply lean manufacturing principles, monitor key performance indicators, and take corrective actions as needed.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, develop and enforce safety protocols, and conduct regular safety training and drills.

Prepare and present production performance reports and use data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.

Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in production and assembly management, experience in the automotive or EV industry will be prioritized.

Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, PMP (Project Management Professional), or relevant technical certifications can be advantageous.

Deep understanding of assembly processes, production planning, and quality control.

Understanding of quality management systems and tools, such as ISO 9001, TQM (Total Quality Management), and statistical process control.

Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.

Proven experience in leading and managing production teams.
