Preventive Maintenance

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all hotel equipment and systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Assist in maintaining fire protection systems and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Equipment Operation & Monitoring

• Operate and monitor building systems, such as Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Monitor energy and water usage to minimize wastage and manage costs.
• Ensure all systems operate efficiently and respond promptly to any malfunctions.

Repairs and Emergency Services

• Address guest room maintenance issues and other repair requests in a timely manner.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls and perform necessary repairs to restore functionality.

Inspections and Reporting

• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities as per checklist guidelines.
• Record and report any irregularities, maintenance requirements, or completed tasks.

Contractor and Vendor Supervision

• Monitor contractors and vendors to ensure their work does not disrupt hotel operations.
• Ensure all third-party work meets safety and quality standards.

Workplace Cleanliness and Organization

• Maintain cleanliness in all workshop and mechanical/equipment areas.
• Ensure tools and materials are stored properly and that adequate supplies are available.

Guest Service Support

• Address guest complaints regarding maintenance issues with professionalism and courtesy.
• Ensure all technical support enhances the guest experience.

Team Collaboration and Compliance

• Collaborate with the engineering team, attending daily briefings, meetings, and training sessions.
• Ensure adherence to hotel policies, including grooming, uniform standards, and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum High School graduate with Electro Technician background
• (2-3) years experience in mechanical & electrical equipment. Hotel & Hospitality experience is preferred
• Strong technical skills in Mechanical & Electrical & HVAC system
• Highly motivated and a team player
• Able to trouble shooting for Kitchen Equipment
• Able to handle shooting of HVAC equipment
• Good Communication Skills - must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace, ensuring good information flow
• Legislation knowledge (building codes, fire safety and country standards)
