Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute category strategies for the Food segment in alignment with overall company objectives.
• Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks within the Food category.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure optimal terms and conditions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and procurement teams to drive category growth and profitability.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance, pricing, and assortment to make data-driven decisions.
• Stay updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to maintain a competitive edge.
• Lead promotional activities, seasonal campaigns, and product launches to drive customer engagement and sales.
• Implement effective inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards within the Food category.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in category management within the retail or FMCG industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing the Food category, preferably within the modern channel (e.g., supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience stores).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute long-term plans.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
