Job Title: Real Estate Associate

Job Type: Permanent

Reports To: Real Estate Manager

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing feasibility studies and market researches by collecting and analyzing data;
• Create visually appealing and informative slides to communicate key insights;
• Reviewing property underwriting for various types of asset classes;
• Assisting the real estate manager to create business proposals for strategic partners;
• Liaising with asset managers, developers, and other institutional property owners; and
• Leveraging network to source for new real estate deals such as partnerships, JVs, or Opco/Propco.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Assisting the real estate manager in strategic project underwriting where needed;
• Assisting in ad-hoc projects such as business process improvement initiatives; and
• Creating and maintaining dashboards and/or trackers where needed.

Experience and Qualifications Required:

• A Bachelors degree in Real Estate or any STEM related field is highly preferred;
• Min. 2 years of experience in real estate, quantity surveying, or work experience in a proptech company in the commercial function;
• Understanding of basic investment KPIs such as IRR, payback period, ROI, ROE, CoC, Yield, etc.;
• Ability to create a basic financial model in spreadsheets;
• Strong business acumen and professional intuition;
• Fluent in written and spoken English;
• High curiosity: Willingness to always learn and improve; and
• Ability to multitask seamlessly.
