On The Way Group is a dynamic and growing company in the heart of Balis vibrant industry. We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Accounting Officer to join our finance team and help us maintain financial integrity and compliance as we expand.

Job Summary

The Accounting Officer will be responsible for managing our day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy of our financial records, and handling all aspects of corporate tax and payroll compliance. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and hands-on experience with modern accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

• Ensure full compliance with Indonesian corporate tax regulations (Perpajakan), including the accurate calculation, payment, and reporting of PPh 21, PPh Badan (Corporate Income Tax), and PPN (VAT).

• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, including the management of BPJS (Ketenagakerjaan & Kesehatan) contributions and deductions.

• Calculate employee income tax (PPh 21) precisely, applying the correct PTKP (Non-Taxable Income) regulations.

• Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

• Perform bank reconciliations and manage financial transactions through various platforms.

• Maintain and update financial data in our accounting system, primarily using Mekari Jurnal.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven work experience as an Accounting Officer or similar role.

• Essential: Strong, in-depth knowledge of Indonesian corporate tax laws and compliance procedures.

• Essential: Proficiency in using spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets).

• Highly Preferred: Hands-on experience with Mekari Jurnal accounting software.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Zoho applications (e.g., Zoho Books).

• Optional: Experience with payment gateways like Xendit is a strong advantage.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
