Barista Duties:

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and non-coffee beverages according to company standards.

• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tools, and equipment.

• Maintain product freshness and proper stock rotation (FIFO).

• Follow all SOPs related to hygiene, safety, and beverage presentation.

Customer Service:

• Greet and engage with customers warmly to create a positive café experience.

• Educate customers about the menu, brewing methods, and coffee bean profiles.

• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism.

Sales Support:

• Promote and upsell retail products (beans, brewing tools, merchandise) to café customers.

• Assist in arranging product displays and ensuring items are well-stocked.

• Monitor inventory levels of retail items and communicate restocking needs.

• Support in executing in-store promotions and product launches.

Administrative & Reporting:

• Assist in daily sales recording and simple stock reports (manual or POS-based).

• Participate in basic stock-taking and reconciliation activities.

• Support internal communication between café operations and sales/marketing teams.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years experience as a Barista; retail sales experience is a plus.

• Friendly personality with strong communication and selling skills.

• Basic knowledge of coffee, brewing techniques, and customer service best practices.

• Willing to learn and contribute to sales performance and customer satisfaction.
