Job Title: AVP, Dispute and Consumer Litigation Management, Legal Compliance

Job Responsibilities: The AVP, Dispute and Consumer Litigation Management, Legal Compliance is responsible for managing and handling consumer complaints and external litigation cases involving the bank. This role includes providing legal advisory services related to dispute prevention and resolution strategies. The individual will coordinate with external counsels, legal enforcement authorities, and internal stakeholders on legal proceedings and consumer protection issues. Additional duties involve reviewing, drafting, and providing legal input on agreements, internal policies, and corporate documents as necessary. The AVP will also monitor relevant regulations to assess their impact on the banks activities and prepare legal reports and documentation related to litigation, dispute settlements, and complaint resolutions. Ensuring the banks compliance with OJK, BI, and other applicable regulations related to consumer protection and legal risk is a key responsibility.

Education and Experience Information: Candidates are required to have a Bachelors Degree in Law (.), with a valid advocate license being preferred. A minimum of 7 years of relevant legal experience is required, ideally within the banking or financial services sectors. The role demands a strong knowledge of dispute resolution mechanisms and consumer protection regulations, alongside excellent legal drafting and analytical skills. Effective communication and negotiation abilities, high integrity, and attention to detail are also essential.

Preferred Qualifications (Plus Points): Proven experience in litigation and legal dispute management, including court proceedings, is highly desirable. Previous roles within financial institutions, preferably banks, are advantageous. A sound understanding of corporate law, including the ability to review and draft commercial agreements and other corporate documentation, is also preferred.
