Business Analyst

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join PT Asuransi Tokio Marine Indonesia as a Business Analyst. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the organizations strategic initiatives and driving continuous improvement within the business. This is a full-time position based in Central Jakarta, Jakarta.

Responsibilities:

• Requirements Expert: Analyze business needs and translate them into clear, concise, and actionable functional and non-functional requirements for our retail initiatives.

• System Integrator: Define detailed API specifications and data mapping to ensure seamless integration across our core AS/400 system, Laravel D2C website, Out Systems applications, and other third-party retail tools.

• Process Optimizer: Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance our operations, from customer journeys to backend processes, using innovative technology solutions.

• Technical Bridge: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders (e.g., retail operations, marketing) and our development teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout project lifecycles.

• Solution Collaborator: Work closely with development teams, especially those utilizing Out Systems for rapid application development and Laravel for our customer-facing platforms.

• Quality Assurer: Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate that deployed solutions accurately meet defined business requirements and perform optimally in a retail environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree, preferably in IT Information Technology.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within the Information & Communication Technology industry.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and find creative solutions.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into business-friendly terms.

• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry would be an advantage.

• Ability to work effectively in fast paced, agile environment.

• Experience with API integration concepts and data mapping.

• Experience with low code development platforms like Out Systems.

• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and retail business process.

• Familiar with AS400 or other legacy core systems is an advantage.
