Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese dishes including stir-fries, noodle soups, fried rice, and regional specialties.

  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications as set by the head chef or management.

  • Maintain proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.

  • Ensure quality control for all ingredients and finished dishes.

  • Manage prep work including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and making sauces.

  • Operate woks, steamers, deep fryers, and other Chinese kitchen equipment with proficiency.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and workstations.

  • Monitor food stock and assist in inventory management.

  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.

  • Communicate effectively with kitchen team members and front-of-house staff.
