Electrical Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Execution
Lead the full project lifecycle for EV charger deployment—from presales technical scoping to post-installation validation.
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure timely and within-scope delivery. Coordinate with internal engineering, procurement, sales, and installation teams to align technical and commercial expectations.
Conduct risk assessments and create mitigation plans to address technical or operational challenges.
Liaise with vendors, subcontractors, and local authorities regarding permitting, inspection, and compliance.
Technical Oversight
Provide electrical engineering expertise in designing system layouts, ensuring grid compatibility, and supporting hardware integration.
Supervise or verify site assessments, electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and load calculations.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., IEC, UL, PLN) and safety regulations for all deployed hardware.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project delivery phase.
Translate customer requirements into executable technical solutions and manage expectations proactively.
Conduct site visits, technical presentations, and handover meetings with clients and partners.
Deliver training and documentation to client teams on system use, maintenance, and support procedures.
After-Sales Support & Optimization
Oversee the post-installation performance of EV charging stations, including monitoring, diagnostics, and issue resolution.
Support firmware/hardware updates, upgrades, or retrofitting as needed to enhance performance.
Gather customer feedback and collaborate with the engineering team to drive continuous product improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
Master basic circuit knowledge
Experience in hardware engineering for power electronics, embedded systems, or electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
Experience in customer-facing roles, providing technical support or presales engineering.
Knowledge of power electronics, chargers (AC/DC), and communication protocols (e.g., OCPP, Modbus, CAN).
Familiarity with industry standards and certifications (e.g., IEC, UL, SAE J1772).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software-related issues in the field.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with electric vehicle charging infrastructure or previous exposure to presales/technical sales roles.
Familiarity with the installation process and requirements for EV chargers in commercial or residential settings.
Ability to use CAD and 3D tools for basic design changes or system simulations
Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software or tools for tracking customer interactions and cases.
Knowledge of IoT-based EV charger solutions or smart grid integration.
