Engineering Manager

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on, detail-oriented Engineering Manager with deep experience in Engineering and Maintenance management, and its related roles. Working in western PT PMA manufacturing companies to perform technical engineering and maintenance works, project management and development, analyze business costs and operation processes, records, to make sure technical environment in the facility is maintained according to the quality standards, and environmental health and safety standards to support in achieving business goals. The Engineering Manager will rely on his or her education and experience to develop Total Preventive Maintenance and not limited to the New Product Development into knowledge and a deeper understanding of the business situation that will ultimately be used to guide and support informed decision-making.

To be a successful Engineering Manager at PT JMI, you should possess a strong understanding in technical management, total productive and preventive maintenance, and good knowledge on environmental health and safety as well as possessing relevant experience practicing technical management in a manufacturing environment for at least 10-15 years. Has strong MS Excel skills, be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work with little to no supervision and perform under pressure.

1. Leadership and Management: Supervise and direct engineering and maintenance teams, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities.

2. Facility Maintenance: Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of factory buildings, equipment, and utilities.

3. Engineering Projects: Plan, execute, and oversee engineering projects, such as equipment upgrades, renovations, and new installations, new technology and techniques implementation.

4. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality.

5. Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective operations.

6. Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

7. Collaboration and Communication: Work with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and management, to achieve common goals.

1. Engineering expertise: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering principles.

2. Leadership and management: Proven experience in leading and managing teams.

3. Communication and interpersonal skills: Fluent English. Effective communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

4. Problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to analysis problems, identify solutions, and implement changes.

5. Time management and organization: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.

1. Bachelors degree: Typically required in a relevant engineering field (e.g., mechanical, electrical, industrial).

2. Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering, maintenance, or a related field, with progressive leadership responsibilities in plastic and stainless steel factories. Proven track record in related capacities in factory.

3. Professional Certified: Holding proven professional certification in the related field.
