Florist and Preservation Assistant

Ever After Bloom specializes in preserving bouquets by transforming them into stunning resin keepsakes or elegant framed displays. Our team is dedicated to capturing the beauty and sentimental value of each bouquet so it can be cherished for years to come. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Preservation and Operations Assistant to join our team and help us deliver exceptional products and services to our clients.

As a Florist Assistant, you will be based in our Dalung workshop five days a week. In this role, you will support various aspects of the bouquet preservation process, including floral design, resin casting and floral pressing. You will also assist with inventory management, customer communications, and maintaining operational records to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Preservation Process

• Support daily workshop tasks with a focus on floral preservation, including drying bouquets, pouring resin, pressing flowers, and performing colour correction when needed.

• Follow precise instructions and safety protocols to maintain high-quality standards.

• Package completed orders and prepare shipping labels for dispatch.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including regular dusting, sweeping, mopping, and waste removal.

Driving

• Collect bridal bouquets from designated locations (primarily Tabanan, Uluwatu, and Ubud) and deliver them safely to our Dalung workshop.

• Ensure bouquets are securely transported using provided collection boxes and handled with care to avoid damage.

• Assist with ad hoc driving tasks, such as purchasing supplies.

Inventory & Operations

• Monitor inventory levels on a weekly basis.

• Maintain accurate records of inventory, assets, orders, and shipments using Asana and Google Sheets.

• Assist in sourcing new suppliers and high-quality products.

• Keep all operational files organized and up to date.

Administrative Support

• Provide ad hoc administrative assistance to the business owner.

Adaptability

• Demonstrate flexibility, eagerness to learn, and willingness to take on new responsibilities.

• Exhibit strong organizational and multitasking skills to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Previous retail experience is an advantage, especially with an interest in design and creativity.

• Basic understanding of inventory management and supply chain processes is beneficial.

• Flexible schedule to accommodate collection needs, including last-minute and same-day orders.

• Willingness to work onsite at our Dalung workshop five days a week, with priority given to bouquet collection days (primarily weekends).

• Must own a bike suitable for safely transporting bouquets.

• Responsible, punctual, and reliable.

• Ability to handle delicate items with great care.

• Weekend availability with flexibility for varying days off.
