HSE Officer

Responsibilities:

1. Continuous inspection of project site at every stage of the project, to ensure a hazard-free environment,

2. Inspection of tools and equipment to ensure good quality,

3. Promoting safe practices on site,

4. Creating and enforcing safety guidelines and programs,

5. Carrying out drills and exercises on managing emergency situations,

6. Conducting investigations on accidents,

7. Verifying that all safety reports are submitted to related government institutions,

8. Responding to workers safety concerns,

9. Coordinates all issues regarding hazardous materials or waste,

10. Assisting with the preparation of a construction health and safety plan,

11. Attending project planning meetings and collaborating with the project team

12. Establishing and maintaining health and safety communication structures,

13. Testing effectiveness of site emergency response plans,

14. Continuous monitoring and updating of all safety related documents, reports and issues,

15. Coordination with the HSE team of the JV partner/s of all HSE matters, and

16. Performing other duties as assigned by the Direct Supervisor or Project Management Team.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum graduated with diploma, preferably with educational background in occupational safety, public health, occupational health, environmental science, or a related field,

2. Preferably with 3 years of experience in relevant field as HSE officer, and

3. Certificate in General Occupational Health and Safety issued by The National Professional Certification Agency or from the ministry (AK3U)

4. Ability to communicate excellently in both oral and written format

5. Profound knowledge of construction standards and regulations
