Job Summary:

As an IT & AV Support Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of the resorts IT infrastructure and audiovisual systems. You will support daily operations by ensuring all technical systems, from Wi-Fi to sound systems, run efficiently to enhance both guest and staff experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, network, and audiovisual (AV) equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with computers, printers, internet access, and mobile devices.

  • Set up and operate AV systems for events, meetings, or daily operations (e.g., speakers, microphones, projectors).

  • Ensure stable and secure connectivity throughout the property (Wi-Fi, routers, UniFi/MikroTik networks).

  • Maintain and update IT inventory, system logs, and backup routines.

  • Collaborate with vendors or third parties for equipment servicing or system upgrades.

  • Train staff on basic use of technology tools and AV equipment.

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies relevant to resort operations.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT or technical support.

  • Strong logical and structured thinking.

  • Basic understanding of : OSI networking model, multimedia technologies, and fundamentals of electricity and physics.

  • Familiarity with UniFi, MikroTik, or Tarcom is a plus.

  • Willingness to learn AV-specific tools (e.g., Dante Controller, DMX).

  • Fluent English (spoken and written).

  • Courteous, responsible, proactive, and eager to learn.

  • Ability to document technical issues and solutions clearly and concisely.

  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and safe IT practices.

  • Familiarity with helpdesk systems or IT asset management tools.
