Job Desk - Savory Application
1. Product Development & ApplicationResponsible for formulation development and optimization of savory flavor products (seasonings, soups, sauces, savory powders, etc.).Apply company flavors into products, providing technical support and application solutions.Conduct sample preparation, adjustments, and improvements based on customer requirements.
2. Customer SupportWork closely with the sales team to visit customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable flavor solutions.Provide technical training and product demonstrations to help customers better understand product characteristics and applications.
3. Market & Trend ResearchStudy savory food trends in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, conducting regular market research and competitor analysis.Collect and analyze consumer taste preferences to support product development.
4.Laboratory & Process WorkConduct lab-scale and pilot-scale trials, record and analyze data, and ensure scalability to production.Collaborate with R&D, regulatory, QC, and production teams to ensure compliance, product stability, and manufacturability.
5.Documentation & ManagementPrepare R&D reports, application reports, and technical documentation.Maintain sample inventory and formulation databases to ensure accuracy and traceability.
Requirements - Savory Application
1.Education BackgroundBachelors degree or above in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields.
2.Work ExperienceMinimum 2 or 3 years of experience in savory food, seasoning, instant food, meat products, or related industry R&D/application.Experience in a flavor house, seasoning company, or food manufacturing company is preferred.
3.SkillsFamiliar with savory food processing (seasoning powders, sauces, instant products, etc.).Strong sensory evaluation skills and ability to describe flavors accurately.Proficient in using lab and kitchen equipment (mixers, cooking equipment, drying equipment, etc.).Capable of formulation development, ingredient application, and flavor matching.Strong analytical and technical reporting skills.
4.Personal QualitiesHands-on, problem-solving mindset.Strong communication skills for cross-departmental and customer collaboration.Market-oriented, innovative, and with a keen sense of taste.Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.Good command of English
