Translator Mandarin

What youll be doing

1. Translating a wide range of documents, including contracts, reports, and correspondence, between Mandarin and English/Indonesian languages

2. Providing simultaneous interpretation during meetings and negotiations with Mandarin-speaking clients and partners

3. Ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and cultural appropriateness of all translated materials

4. Collaborating with teams across the organisation to understand context and accurately convey information

5. Maintaining a database of translated terms and terminology to ensure consistency

6. Staying up-to-date with the latest translation techniques, tools, and industry best practices

What were looking for

1. Fluency in both Mandarin and English/Indonesian, with the ability to translate between the languages with a high degree of accuracy

2. Proven experience as a professional Translator, preferably in a business or commercial setting

3. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistency in terminology and tone

4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

5. Proficient in the use of translation software and other relevant technology

6. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

7. Cultural awareness and sensitivity to ensure appropriate translation for diverse audiences
