Welder / Juru Las

Responsibilities:

• Execute high-precision welding in 6G position according to project specifications.

• Ensure welding works comply with MIGAS and company standards.

• Perform visual inspections and assist in quality assurance.

• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and discipline in the working area.

• Support the production team in meeting or project deadlines.

• Interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, and specifications accurately.

• Prepare and align materials prior to welding.

• Record and report welding results, defects, and progress as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum Vocational High School (SMK), majoring in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a welder in the oil & gas industry (required).

• Holding a 6G Welder Certification.

• Certified by MIGAS or an equivalent recognized authority (required).

• Strong knowledge of welding techniques and standards.

• Familiar with safety procedures in high-risk environments.

• Physically fit and willing to work under field/project conditions.
