Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee full set accounts, financial reporting, payroll, and cash flow management. The role involves ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, managing audits and tax submissions, and leading a small team. 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and close monthly accounts, record journal entries.

• Process supplier invoices, payments, issue invoices to customers, and manage collections.

• Understand Standard Costing of Inventory method. 

• Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

• Calculate and process payroll, ensure statutory compliance.

• Liaise with tax agent and auditor for annual income tax submission and finalise annual audit

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.

• Monitor and manage cash flow, prepare projections. 

• Any other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in handling full sets of accounts.

• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing company background.

• Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics Navision is preferred.

• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Have leadership to lead a team.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Willing to relocate to Johor, Malaysia. (Our factory is located at Taman Desa Idaman, Senai, Johor)
