Accounting Specialist

Job Description:

• Handle a full set of accounts including month end closing, preparing journal entries, & reconciliation.

• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information

• Monitor cash balances to ensure sufficient funds for operational needs.

• Summarize current financial status by preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports including deep-dive on variance analysis.

• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management & regulators.

• Develop financial policies and procedures to optimize operational efficiency.

• Execute ad-hoc queries to support the daily business tasks.

Job Specification:

• Min. bachelor degree, majoring in Accounting with GPA above 3.00

• Min 5 years working experience in the insurance industry, preferable from Reinsurance Broker company.

• Min. having brevet A & B or other professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA).

• Excellent skills in Ms. Office especially Ms. Excels formulas (e.g. lookup, if & pivot table).

• Having experiences in accounting, tax & reporting.

• Having experiences in insurance company or reinsurance broker is prefered.

• Strong analytical thinking, having remarkable can do attitude, high initiative, and passion to work extra mile.

• Good communication skill in English and Bahasa Indonesia for both oral and written.

• Able to work as a team or as an individual.
