Accounting Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team at PT MCPP COMPOUNDS INDONESIA. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the companys financial accounting and reporting processes. Based in Tangerang Banten, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial records, as well as providing strategic insights to support the companys growth and success.

What youll be doing

• Supervising and coordinating the day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting

• Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the companys financial records, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Implementing and maintaining effective internal controls to mitigate financial risks

• Collaborating with the management team to provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making

• Overseeing the preparation and submission of tax filings, audits, and other regulatory requirements

• Mentoring and developing the accounting team to enhance their skills and performance

• Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices, and implementing necessary process improvements

What were looking for

• A bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field

• At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the financial accounting and reporting function, preferably in a manufacturing or similar industry

• Thorough understanding of financial accounting principles, practices, and regulations

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing accounting team

• Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel)

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and compliance
