B.  ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an Associate proficient in Mandarin to join our Corporate & Commercial Department in Jakarta, Indonesia. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to develop their legal skills within a dynamic and supportive team environment. As a Junior Associate at MNP, you will gain valuable experience working alongside seasoned legal professionals and contributing to high-profile corporate and commercial matters.

C. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Associate at MNP, you will:

• Assist in the preparation, drafting, and review of legal documents and agreements.

• Conduct legal research and provide insightful analysis to support ongoing projects and client matters.

• Support senior lawyers in corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and commercial agreements.

• Liaise with clients and other stakeholders to gather relevant information and documentation.

• Maintain accurate and organized case files, ensuring compliance with legal standards.

• Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to develop strategic legal solutions.

• Stay updated on relevant legal developments in corporate and commercial law.

D. KEY REQUIREMENTS

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written).

• Fluency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (spoken and written).

• A minimum of 3 year of experience in corporate and commercial legal work, preferably within a law firm.

• A law degree (Sarjana Hukum) from a reputable Indonesian university.

• A strong academic background with good analytical and legal writing skills.

• A keen interest in corporate transactions and commercial law.

• Excellent communication, time-management, and organizational skills.

• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
