Business Development Director (Indonesia)

Our Client:

An innovative company focusing on diversified products with a core emphasis on retail and new consumer brands.

Responsibilities

• Craft and own the end-to-end BD playbook for Indonesia: site selection, JV structuring, and go-to-market rollout.
• Leverage deep relationships with property developers, landowners, and high-net-worth individuals to fast-track project financing and approvals.
• Negotiate LOIs, term sheets, and JV agreements; shepherd complex deals from first touch to final hand-over.
• Recruit, mentor, and inspire a high-impact local BD squad; set clear KPIs and champion a performance culture.
• Stay ahead of local regulations, government channels, and industry trends; represent the company at conferences, forums, and government roundtables.

Requirements

• A good university degree.
• 8+ years in property development, hotel operations, or real estate.
• Regional hotel development experience or a strong local real-estate network
• Exposure to Big Five bank real-estate divisions, mixed-use complex operations, or family-office partnerships
• Deep understanding of Indonesian laws, policies, and market dynamics; proven ability to build government and industry relationships quickly
• Outstanding commercial negotiation and project-management capabilities; track record of independently driving complex projects from concept to delivery
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English
