About the role

As the Chief Engineering Hotel for the prestigious 4-star CHAIN HOTEL 4 STAR located in Bandung, Jawa Barat, you will be responsible for overseeing all engineering, maintenance and facilities management operations to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the hotel. This is a contract role that offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment and contribute to the success of the organisation.

What youll be doing

  • Manage and coordinate the hotels engineering, maintenance and facilities teams to deliver high standards of operation and service
  • Ensure all hotel systems, equipment and facilities are properly maintained and functioning effectively
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programmes to maximise asset longevity and minimise disruptions
  • Monitor energy consumption and explore opportunities to improve efficiency and sustainability
  • Manage project planning, budgeting and execution for refurbishments, renovations and upgrades
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve engineering-related issues and enhance the guest experience
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to support the hotels operations and strategic initiatives

    • What were looking for

  • Significant experience (8+ years) in a senior engineering/facilities management role within the hospitality industry
  • Strong technical knowledge and hands-on expertise in the maintenance and operation of hotel engineering systems and equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making abilities
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of engineering professionals
  • Proficient in project management, budget planning and cost control
  • Degree in engineering, facilities management or a related technical discipline
  • Certification in hotel engineering or facilities management preferred
