Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - Cryptocurrency Exchange

Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client, a fast-growing IT Service and Consulting company subsidiary of a national holding company of various businesses.

Job Responsibilities

• Drive financial strategy, forecasting, and long-term planning to support business growth.
• Supervise accounting, taxation, auditing, and financial reporting processes.
• Manage liquidity, treasury operations, and asset allocation across both fiat and crypto holdings.
• Ensure adherence to local and international regulations, including Bappebti, OJK, and AML/KYC compliance standards.
• Develop and implement policies to mitigate financial and operational risks within the crypto sector.
• Partner with senior leadership to align financial initiatives with corporate objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators, auditors, banks, and crypto custodians.
• Oversee finance and accounting teams to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and strategic decision-making.

Core Competencies:

Financial & Technical Expertise:

• In-depth knowledge of cryptocurrency assets, digital currencies, and blockchain technology.
• Proficiency in financial planning, analysis, and crypto-specific accounting practices, including fiat-to-crypto reconciliation.
• Strong grasp of global financial standards (IFRS, GAAP).
• Experience managing digital wallets, crypto exchanges, and custody solutions.

Regulatory & Risk Management:

• Comprehensive understanding of financial and crypto-specific regulatory frameworks (Bappebti, OJK, FATF).
• Hands-on experience with AML/KYC programs and auditing procedures.
• Ability to design internal controls and policies to safeguard financial integrity and compliance.

Leadership & Strategy:

• Skilled in leading cross-functional teams and integrating financial strategies with business objectives.
• Strong negotiation and decision-making capabilities.
• Proven success in scaling financial operations within fast-paced environments.

Analytical & Systems Thinking:

• Advanced analytical capabilities for modelling cryptocurrency market trends.
• Familiarity with ERP and financial systems optimized for crypto businesses.
• Advocate for process automation and continuous improvement.

Communication & Ethical Integrity:

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Upholds the highest ethical standards, ensuring financial integrity in a volatile market.

Job Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• CPA/CFA certification or equivalent credentials preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in financial leadership, preferably in fintech or cryptocurrency sectors.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa
