Coating Inspector (For Modul Project)
Inspect coating materials and processes to ensure they meet project specifications and industry standards.
Conduct visual and appropriate testing as per Inspection test plan to assess the quality of coatings applied to equipment and structures.
Provide all progress reports on inspection to Project managers and QAQC on timely manner.
Verify surface preparation and cleanliness before the application of coatings, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
Monitor environmental conditions during coating application to ensure they meet the manufacturers specifications.
Review technical documentation, including coating specifications, drawings, and standards to ensure all requirements are met.
Collaborate with contractors and project teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of coating applications.
Maintain detailed inspection reports, documenting all findings, discrepancies, and corrective actions taken.
Perform audits on coating procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
Ensure that safety and environmental regulations are adhered to during coating activities.
Provide guidance and training on coating inspection procedures to subcontractors, as required.
Minimum of 3 years of Coating Inspector experience in shipyard, oil & gas industry or related field
Certification in Coating Inspection (NACE CIP Level 2 or FROSIO) is highly preferred.
Proven experience in coating inspection within the oil and gas industry.
Strong knowledge of coating materials, application methods, and industry standards.
Familiarity with surface preparation techniques and coating systems used in industrial applications.
Ability to interpret technical specifications and standards.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a team and under tight deadlines.
Good planning and execution skills.
