Coating Inspector (For Modul Project)

• Inspect coating materials and processes to ensure they meet project specifications and industry standards.

• Conduct visual and appropriate testing as per Inspection test plan to assess the quality of coatings applied to equipment and structures.

• Provide all progress reports on inspection to Project managers and QAQC on timely manner.

• Verify surface preparation and cleanliness before the application of coatings, ensuring compliance with project requirements.

• Monitor environmental conditions during coating application to ensure they meet the manufacturers specifications.

• Review technical documentation, including coating specifications, drawings, and standards to ensure all requirements are met.

• Collaborate with contractors and project teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of coating applications.

• Maintain detailed inspection reports, documenting all findings, discrepancies, and corrective actions taken.

• Perform audits on coating procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.

• Ensure that safety and environmental regulations are adhered to during coating activities.

• Provide guidance and training on coating inspection procedures to subcontractors, as required.

• Minimum of 3 years of Coating Inspector experience in shipyard, oil & gas industry or related field

• Certification in Coating Inspection (NACE CIP Level 2 or FROSIO) is highly preferred.

• Proven experience in coating inspection within the oil and gas industry.

• Strong knowledge of coating materials, application methods, and industry standards.

• Familiarity with surface preparation techniques and coating systems used in industrial applications.

• Ability to interpret technical specifications and standards.

• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work in a team and under tight deadlines.

• Good planning and execution skills.
