Customer Service Officer - PCV

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Customer Service Officer - PCV. This role is pivotal in fostering long-term client relationships, preparing compelling proposals, and ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers through consistent and meaningful engagement.

  • Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.

Proposal Preparation & Coordination

  • Prepare customer proposals of a less technical nature based on received RFQs.

  • Collaborate with sales colleagues and technical specialists to address product, service, and pricing inquiries during proposal and order execution.

Client Interaction & Issue Resolution

  • Define scope and pricing of services in direct consultation with clients.

  • Resolve order and delivery issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.

  • Handle claims efficiently to minimize negative impact on customer relationships.

CRM & Opportunity Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system.

  • Follow up on sales opportunities in collaboration with sales managers and other stakeholders.

Receivables & Compliance

  • Monitor and follow up on overdue receivables to ensure timely payments.

  • Ensure strict compliance with Export Control regulations, particularly when dealing with embargoed countries.

Safety & Culture

  • Promote a culture of safety and accountability within the team and across operational activities.

  • Encourage personal responsibility and team collaboration in maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven experience in customer service, sales support, or proposal coordination

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales processes

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and commercial teams

  • Knowledge of export control regulations is a plus

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
