Department Head of Business Development

As the Head of Business Development, you will lead the companys efforts in generating high-quality leads and converting them into new business opportunities. This role is pivotal in driving growth through proactive prospecting, strategic outreach, and building a predictable sales pipeline for Jatis Mobiles B2B technology solutions.

Job descriptions:

  • Develop and execute lead generation strategies to acquire new clients through market research, outbound campaigns, events, and digital channels.

  • Build, manage, and continuously enrich the companys lead database by identifying and qualifying prospects across various industries.

  • Drive outbound prospecting initiatives via email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp Business API, cold calls, and networking to secure meetings and sales opportunities.

  • Lead the qualification process of leads, ensuring a strong match between prospect needs and Jatis Mobiles offerings.

  • Oversee the sales funnel from lead generation to deal closure, coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth proposal and solution delivery.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align campaigns with lead generation goals and track performance of marketing-sourced leads.

  • Conduct detailed account mapping to identify key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within target organizations.

  • Maintain accurate records of all lead activities and progress using CRM systems and regularly report performance metrics to top management.

  • Guide and mentor the Business Development team to ensure consistent execution of lead generation initiatives.

  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and new channels for lead generation to continuously optimize strategy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

  • Strong track record of building and managing a high-performing sales pipeline.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and proficient in English (both verbal and written).

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics.

  • Experience in the IT or SaaS industry is a strong advantage.

  • Strong strategic thinking and people leadership abilities.

  • Willing to be based in South Jakarta (Hybrid).
