DevOps Engineer

Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client, a fast-growing IT Service and Consulting company, a subsidiary of a national holding company of various businesses.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and refine software through the DevOps lifecycle, ensuring smooth operations without bottlenecks or system inefficiencies.
• Implement best practices for development teams and IT teams, integrating DevOps methodologies.
• Collaborate with developers to select appropriate tools, programming languages, and databases for software development.
• Set up and manage cloud infrastructure, including GCP/AWS accounts, virtual machines, Docker, Kubernetes, and CloudSQL.
• Implement Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Deploy monitoring and logging tools to facilitate software development tracking and enhance security measures.

Job Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in fintech, PJP 1, e-money, and Banking.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment and scaling.
• Strong proficiency in AWS, GCP, or HWC Cloud (preference for HWC).
• Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux server administration and scripting in Bash or Python.
• Strong grasp of load balancing, auto-scaling, firewall configurations, and Web Application Firewall (WAF).
• Experience in managing high-availability databases and backup strategies.
• Must be based in or willing to work in BSD - Tangerang
