Director of Finance

MidPlaza Holding is looking for a strategic and accomplished Director of Finance. The Director of Finance will play a pivotal role in driving our financial strategy, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing financial insights to support business decisions. This leadership position requires a deep understanding of financial principles and experience in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute financial strategies to support the overall business objectives and growth initiatives.
• Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Monitor financial performance and provide insights to senior management for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
• Lead financial audits and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants.
• Manage cash flow and working capital to safeguard the financial health of the organization.
• Enhance financial controls and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop and mentor the finance team to ensure professional growth and high performance.
• Collaborate with department heads to drive financial accountability across all aspects of the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Masters degree or CPA preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices.
• Experience in the hospitality or related industry is a must.
• Strong proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and developing finance teams.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong strategic mindset with a proactive approach to achieving financial goals.
• Willingness to travel and flexible regarding work assignments.
