EHS Manager

About the role

As the EHS Manager at PT Avery Dennison, you will be responsible for leading the companys environmental, health, and safety initiatives, as well as overseeing the engineering operations. This is a full-time position based in South Cikarang, West Java, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the companys commitment to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.

What youll be doing

• Develop, implement, and monitor environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices

• Manage the engineering team, overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of production equipment and facilities

• Identify and implement process improvements, and optimise engineering systems to enhance efficiency and productivity

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address EHS and engineering challenges, and drive continuous improvement initiatives

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to employees on EHS and engineering matters

• Analyse data and generate reports to track and monitor EHS and engineering performance

• Ensure compliance with all relevant EHS regulations and standards

What were looking for

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field

• 8+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry

• Strong technical expertise in environmental, health, and safety management, as well as engineering principles and practices

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills

• Proven track record of leading and managing teams effectively

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Familiarity with relevant EHS regulations and standards
