English Teacher (Junior-Senior High School)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage students in dynamic lessons that promote learning and language development. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching students reading, writing, grammar, literature, and language skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that adhere to the schools curriculum and educational standards.

2. Teach English language arts, including reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and vocabulary.

3. Guide students in the exploration of literature, analyzing works of poetry, prose, and drama.

4. Foster critical thinking, discussion, and creative expression through writing and speaking activities.

5. Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and participation.

6. Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their language skills.

7. Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.

8. Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment conducive to learning.

9. Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and administrators to support school goals and student progress.

10. Participate in parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, and professional development activities.

Requirements:

1. Bachelors degree in English, Education, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).

2. Valid teaching certification or license for the specified grade level.

3. Proven experience teaching English, preferably at [specify level, e.g., middle school, high school, etc.].

4. Strong knowledge of English language grammar, literature, and writing techniques.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Ability to motivate and inspire students to excel in their studies.
