Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced English Educational Textbook Editor to edit, review, revise, and refine educational content for use in primary and secondary classrooms. The ideal candidate will ensure alignment with curriculum standards, and clarity in the English language. This position supports the academic team in developing high-quality, accurate, and engaging textbooks for student learning.

• Edit and proofread textbook manuscripts for grammar, punctuation, style, and clarity

• Ensure content aligns with curriculum standards.

• Collaborate with authors, educators, and subject experts to maintain accuracy and educational integrity

• Fact-check information and verify sources and references

• Edit for grade-appropriate vocabulary and readability

• Format layouts and cross-check visuals, charts, and glossaries

• Maintain deadlines and manage multiple editing projects efficiently

• Assist in reviewing final print or digital proofs before publication

• Bachelors degree in English, Education, Publishing, or related field (Masters preferred)

• 2+ years of experience in educational editing, textbook publishing, or curriculum development

• Strong fluent command of English language and in reading, writing and grammar conventions

• Proficiency with editing tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, or InDesign)
