Exhibitions & Events Lead

About the role

Maison Events Indo is seeking an experienced Exhibition Lead to join our dynamic trade show team or the events team. As an Exhibition/Event Lead, you will play a pivotal role in organising and executing high-profile B2B events and exhibitions. This is a full-time position based in our West Jakarta office.

What youll be doing

  • Develop and implement strategic event plans to achieve defined objectives and KPIs.

  • Work closely with our overseas trade show partners or our international clients to achieve a successful event.

  • Manage all logistical aspects of events and exhibitions, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, and on-site coordination.

  • Create engaging event experiences that align with Maison Events Indo branding.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop the marketing plan that rolls out promotional materials and digital/social media campaigns to drive event attendance.

  • Establish key partnerships and relations with governments, associations and key stakeholders in the industry.

  • Monitor and analyse event performance, providing detailed post-event reports and recommendations for future improvements.

  • Maintain strong relationships with key industry partners, vendors, and stakeholders

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and execute exhibitions, trade shows, and events to a high professional standard

  • Manage budgets, timelines, and event logistics, ensuring delivery within scope

  • Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, contractors, and venues to ensure seamless coordination

  • Oversee marketing, branding, and promotion in collaboration with the marketing team

  • Recruit, train, and supervise event staff and volunteers as needed

  • Analyze post-event feedback and reports to inform future improvements

  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor events

What were looking for

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in either the trade show industry or in event management.

  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines

  • Strong creative and strategic thinking abilities to conceptualise unique and memorable event experiences

  • Proven track record of successfully planning and executing a wide range of events, from running high level conferences to large scale trade shows

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders

  • Proficient in using event management software and digital marketing tools

  • Bachelors degree in Event Management, Marketing, or a related field

  • English speaking is a must. Chinese speaking is a strong added bonus.

  • Domestically and international travel is a must.
