Front End Developer (Laravel & React JS)

Job Description:

• Develop and maintain web applications and user interfaces using PHP and the Laravel framework

• Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to create visually appealing and intuitive interfaces

• Design and implement responsive layouts that function across various devices and platforms

• Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of web applications

• Test, debug, and fix issues to maintain high-quality standards

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to fellow developers

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in front-end development

• Maintain existing React-based systems, including bug fixing

• Design and develop new custom components as needed by the project

• Install and configure server environments for React deployment

• Maintain and update project dependencies and resolve any arising conflicts

• Work with JavaScript developers and software engineers to develop well-structured and flexible front-end and back-end architectures, including supporting APIs

Requirements:

• Preferably experienced in the financial services industry

• Proficient in PHP programming language, especially the Laravel framework

• Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery

• Experienced in responsive design and front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation

• Familiar with version control systems such as Git

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

• Proficient with the latest version of ECMAScript (JavaScript), as well as HTML and CSS

• Knowledge of React and tools commonly used in the React ecosystem, such as Node.js and npm

• Experience implementing new features and managing code using React and related tools (e.g., Yarn, Node.js)

• Familiar with programming tools and libraries such as Redux, IDEs, RESTful APIs, Git repositories, TypeScript, version control software, and remote deployment tools

• Good understanding of general programming paradigms and React fundamentals, including components, hooks, and the React lifecycle
