Our Client is a prominent and rapidly expanding company in the food and beverage manufacturing sector, recognized for their commitment to quality and innovation in consumer products. We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic trade marketing team leader as this role is crucial for leading the development and execution of trade marketing plan to support business objectives, brand growth, and sales targets across multiple retail and distribution channels.Responsibilities

Channel Management: Work in close partnership with Sales, Category Management, and Distribution teams to develop customized trade marketing programs for major retail segments, such as modern trade, general trade, e-commerce, and wholesale.

Promotions & Campaigns: Develop and execute trade promotions, product launches, and merchandising strategies that boost consumer interaction, enhance product visibility, and increase sales.

Customer Relationships: Establish and nurture strong partnerships with key retail clients, distributors, and channel partners to better understand their requirements, enhance trade agreements, and unlock growth opportunities.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Sales, Category Management, Brand Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure strategic alignment, accurate demand forecasting, and seamless execution of trade marketing initiatives.

Budget Management: Manage the trade marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize return on investment.

Market Analysis: Track and evaluate competitor activities, market dynamics, and shopper trends to refine and enhance trade marketing strategies.

Trade Marketing Activation: Oversee the rollout of in-store and online trade marketing activities, including point-of-sale materials, visual merchandising, and promotional events to maximize consumer engagement.

Reporting & Analytics: Prepare and deliver regular performance reports to senior management, highlighting the impact of trade marketing campaigns through sales metrics, market insights, and ROI evaluations.

Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the trade marketing team, cultivating a high-performance environment and supporting ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Over 10 years of combined experience in Trade Marketing, Channel Development, or Key Account Management within the FMCG sector.
  • Proven track record in managing trade marketing across multiple channels.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including managing mid- to large-sized teams.
  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
  • Experience in a similar industry is highly desirable.
