HR Manager

• Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Coordinate with department heads to understand staffing needs.

  • Post job ads, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and manage hiring.

  • Organize onboarding, orientation, and training for new hires.

• Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

  • Handle employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary actions professionally and confidentially.

  • Plan employee engagement activities and recognition programs.

• HR Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws.

  • Maintain up-to-date employee records and documentation.

  • Manage work schedules, attendance, and leave policies in compliance with labor laws.

• Training & Development:

  • Identify training needs and organize learning opportunities.

  • Promote continuous development and cross-training initiatives.

• Payroll & Benefits Administration:

  • Work with the finance/payroll team to ensure accurate compensation and benefits distribution.

  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and questions.

• Performance Management:

  • Implement and maintain performance review systems.

  • Guide managers in performance conversations and improvement plans.

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.

• Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.

• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
