HR Training Manager

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Training System Development and Planning:

    • Responsible for developing and refining the companys overall training strategy, annual training plan, and budget based on strategic objectives, business development needs, and employee capability gaps, ensuring effective implementation.

    • Build and optimize the companys training system, including new employee onboarding, job-specific skills training, general soft skills training, management capability development, and professional technical training, covering the entire chain from frontline operators to mid-to-senior management.

    • Establish and continuously update training curriculum outlines, materials, and evaluation standards for various roles.

  2. Training Needs Analysis and Curriculum Development:

    • Regularly conduct in-depth analyses of training needs across departments and employee levels through performance reviews, employee surveys, and departmental interviews, with a particular focus on skill enhancement requirements for core technical roles such as injection molding, spray painting, pad printing, packaging, and mold repair.

    • Responsible for or coordinate internal and external resources to develop and introduce high-quality training courses and tools, including online learning platforms and e-learning courses.

    • Design targeted and engaging training content tailored to Indonesian local culture and employee characteristics.

  3. Training Implementation and Management:

    • Organize, coordinate, and manage the implementation of all training activities, including trainer selection and management, venue coordination, equipment preparation, participant organization, and training process monitoring.

    • Introduce and promote On-the-Job Training (OJT) and mentorship programs to ensure training content is closely integrated with actual work scenarios.

    • Manage and maintain the companys internal training instructor team, providing necessary support and development.

    • Ensure the effective utilization of training resources (including internal instructors, external organizations, and training materials).

  4. Training Effectiveness Evaluation and Feedback:

    • Establish a scientific and effective training evaluation system (e.g., Kirkpatricks Four-Level Evaluation Model) to assess, track, and provide feedback on training program effectiveness, analyzing the return on training investment.

    • Continuously optimize training courses and methods based on evaluation results to ensure training effectiveness and practicality.

    • Regularly report training progress, achievements, and issues to senior management, offering improvement suggestions.

  5. Training Resource Management and Innovation:

    • Responsible for the preparation, control, and efficient utilization of the training budget.

    • Actively explore and introduce advanced training concepts, tools, and technologies, such as blended learning, microlearning, VR/AR training, etc., to enhance the modernity of training.

    • Establish and maintain the companys internal knowledge base and learning platform to promote knowledge sharing and experience transfer.

    • Responsible for building good relationships with local vocational training institutions, universities, and industry associations in Indonesia.

  6. Team Management and Capability Development:

    • Responsible for the daily management, performance evaluation, and professional development of the training department team (training specialists/supervisors), enhancing team members skills in training management, curriculum development, and instruction.

    • Cultivate team members innovative thinking and problem-solving abilities to build a highly efficient and professional training team.

  7. Cross-Departmental Collaboration and Communication:

    • Collaborate closely with heads of production, engineering, quality, R&D, and other departments to understand business needs and jointly advance talent development initiatives.

    • Work closely with other HR functions (e.g., recruitment, compensation & benefits, employee relations) to form a closed-loop talent management system.

Job Requirements:
  1. Education Background: Bachelors degree or higher in Human Resources Management, Education, Psychology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

  2. Work Experience: At least 8 years of experience in training management, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a Training Manager or equivalent management role within a large manufacturing enterprise (e.g., 5,000+ headcount). Experience in the plastic/toy manufacturing industry or working at a multinational companys Indonesian subsidiary/factory is highly preferred.

  3. Language Proficiency:

    • Indonesian: Native proficiency or fluent, capable of seamless communication, training, and report writing.

    • English: Fluent in business communication, capable of reading English training materials and interacting with expatriate colleagues/consultants.

    • Mandarin Chinese (Plus Point): If the company has a significant number of Chinese-speaking managers, proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (speaking, listening, reading, writing) will be a significant advantage.

  4. Professional Knowledge and Skills:

    • Proficient in training management theories and practices, familiar with the entire training process including needs analysis, curriculum design, implementation, and effectiveness evaluation (ADDIE model, Kirkpatrick model).

    • Strong curriculum development and instructional delivery skills, capable of independently developing and facilitating various training courses.

    • Familiar with the local vocational education system and labor laws and regulations in Indonesia.

    • Proficient in using various office software (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Outlook, etc.) and common Learning Management Systems (LMS).

    • Possesses project management and data analysis capabilities.

  5. Management Capabilities and Personal Attributes:

    • Excellent organizational, coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively managing stakeholders.

    • Possesses strategic thinking, capable of planning training from a holistic company development perspective.

    • Results-oriented, strong execution ability, and able to work under significant pressure.

    • Meticulous, highly responsible, possessing an innovative spirit and a willingness for continuous learning.

    • Capable of leading and motivating a team.
