We are looking for…
Hopefully, you! Were seeking an experienced, hands-on People, Culture and Learning Manager to join our People team in Semarang. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating recruitment, enhancing English language capability across the team, and ensuring smooth alignment between our Indonesian operations and head office. The PCL Manager partners closely with the People, Culture and Learning team in Australia and the local Indonesian team.
The PCL Managers key responsibilities will include:
- Talent Acquisition- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes for roles based in Indonesia, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial screening
- Learning and Development- Support the English language development of local team members by facilitating regular practice sessions, identifying individual learning needs, and developing a structured framework to build and maintain strong communication proficiency
- People Engagement and Culture- Plan and coordinate local cultural events, celebrations, and recognition activities that reflect our behaviours and promote team connection. Support the rollout of global culture and engagement initiatives at the local level, adapting where needed for local context.
- People Operations Support- Provide administrative support across the employee lifecycle- onboarding, changes, exits. Ensures compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
Requirements
We need you to bring…
- Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal
- 3 years work experience in People/ HR/ recruitment/ L&D role
- Experience in coordinating language programs is a bonus
- Familiarity with HR systems and platforms (e.g. HiBob, Sana, Workable, CultureAmp) is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to facilitate engaging learning sessions
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
