Mandarin Translator

We are seeking a highly skilled Mandarin Translator to support communication between our Indonesian operations and Chinese-speaking stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong language proficiency, and familiarity with the mining or commodity trading industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Translate spoken and written documents from Bahasa Indonesia to Mandarin and vice versa.

2. Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, site visits, negotiations, and conference calls.

3. Translate business correspondence, legal documents, contracts, and technical materials related to nickel ore operations.

4. Support communication between Chinese clients/suppliers and Indonesian site or office staff.

5. Assist in drafting bilingual reports and presentations.

6. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of all translated information.

Qualifications:

1. Proficiency in both Bahasa Indonesia and Mandarin (spoken and written).

2. At least 2 years of experience in translation and/or interpretation, preferably in the mining or commodity trading sector.

3. Ability to attend business meetings and travel to mining sites (Sulawesi) when required.
