Operation Staff Travel Agent
Job Summary:
As an Operational Executive in the tour and travel industry, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of travel arrangements and ensuring a smooth travel experience for clients. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate travel itineraries: Develop and manage detailed travel itineraries for clients, including transportation, accommodation, and activities, ensuring all arrangements align with client preferences and requirements.
Handle reservations and bookings: Make reservations for flights, hotels, transportation, and other travel-related services, ensuring accuracy and timely confirmation.
Liaise with vendors and suppliers: Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, including airlines, hotels, tour operators, and transportation companies, to secure competitive rates and availability.
Provide travel advice and assistance: Assist clients with travel-related inquiries, provide destination information, suggest attractions and activities, and offer recommendations based on their preferences.
Monitor travel arrangements: Continuously monitor travel arrangements and proactively address any potential issues or changes, ensuring smooth operations throughout the entire travel process.
Manage documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records, including travel contracts, invoices, itineraries, and other relevant documents. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Handle client inquiries and complaints: Promptly address client inquiries, concerns, or complaints, providing effective solutions and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with internal teams: Coordinate with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure alignment in delivering exceptional customer experiences and achieving business objectives.
Stay updated on industry trends: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, travel regulations, and destination-specific information to provide accurate and relevant information to clients.
Requirements:
Proven work experience in a similar operational role within the tour and travel industry.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in travel management systems and booking platforms.
Knowledge of travel regulations and industry best practices.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Flexibility to work irregular hours and handle last-minute changes or emergencies.
Degree or certification in travel and tourism management (preferred).
