JOB SUMMARY

ZODIAC GROUP is seeking an Operational Manager to lead its newly established bar in Jalan Senopati. This is a senior role with deep experience in managing bars, lounges, or mini clubs to take full ownership of nightly operations and ensure the guest experience is consistently smooth, vibrant, and on-point. The job is only suited for someone who understands bar culture, service flow, team dynamics, and what makes a bar truly work. The position requires candidate to bring the highest level of operational and service standards that will elevate the brand, with a deep appreciation for details.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee all bar operations from opening to close, ensuring a seamless guest experience every night

• Manage FOH team (bartenders, floor staff, security), creating a tight, high-performing crew with a sharedstandard of excellence

• Maintain top-tier service and cleanliness standards across the space- every detail from lighting to glassware

• Set and enforce SOPs for bar prep, service protocols, guest handling, closing duties, and team coordination

• Responsible for inventory, cost control, staffing schedules, and other operational activities

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years of experience working as Operational Manager in bar, nightlife, or lounge operations

• Has worked at established hospitality group with very sharp eyes on quality standard

• Deep understanding of bar service, guest flow, staff dynamics, and how to manage peak-hour pressure

• Excellent team leadership and people management skills; knows how to motivate, train, and retain staff

• Nightlife-savvy, culture-conscious, and passionate about hospitality with soul
