Yaran (www.yaran.com.au) is a Perth-based property development and investment company that specialises in affordable housing in Perth, Australia, but now also in Bali, Indonesia. The mission of Yaran is “to be a blessing to others through housing which is affordable, fit-for-purpose and environmentally conscious”.

The company was established in 1996 and has since developed over 1,500 dwellings in Western Australia. with a combined development value in excess of A$600 million.

The company currently has one project in Seminyak Bali for 19 apartments aimed at providing affordable housing for retirees from Australia. The company is also actively looking into expanding its offering into the Sanur, Bali property market.

The Yaran team in Bali is expanding in preparation for the growing number of Australians looking to move to Bali.

Description

PT Yaran Bali Indonesia is looking for intelligent and passionate graduate to be trained in the role of Project Manager. The position is in Denpasar, Bali and reports to the Yaran Balis General Manager, Geri Pradana.

Requirement

  • Land Acquisitions: Source and acquire land for development; Run economic models for potential developments
  • Architectural Design: Manage architects to produce fit-for-purpose designs for new developments
  • Development Approvals (PBG): Manage the approval process through various government departments
  • Construction Management: Manage and oversee Builder for construction of new projects
  • Titling and Handover: Manage the process for acquiring subdivided titles (SHM) and occupancy permit (SLF), following completion of construction.

Qualifications and Prerequisites

  • Fluent in English (both written and oral)
  • Fluent in Indonesian language (both written and oral)
  • Must be located in Bali preferably within a short commuting distance of Renon, Denpasar
  • Degree or post graduate qualifications preferably in Bachelor of Commerce or Engineering from a high-ranking university. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills and ability to interact positively with Australian clients and the Yaran Team in Australia, Philippines and Bali
  • Ability to learn quickly and solve problems independently
  • Passionate about the mission of Yaran and wanting to be a blessing to others
  • Excellent computer and technology skills

Employment and Salary:

  • Immediate start;
  • Permanent full-time position;
  • Must be based in Bali, preferably close to the Renon, Denpasar area;
  • An attractive starting salary of A$1000 per month (approx. IDR 10 juta per month) with opportunity to rise rapidly through the remuneration structure.
