Purchasing Officer

• Seeking reliable vendors or suppliers to provide quality goods at reasonable prices.

• Reviewing technical specifications, quality, payment term & condition applied before purchase of goods.

• Negotiating prices and contracts before placing the order.

• Monitoring open PR-PO to ensure on-time delivery of all materials.

• Ensure timing of deliveries after order confirmation and expedite based on schedule.

• Manage and resolve issue regarding PO to Invoice discrepancies, RTV and quality problem with suppliers.

• Ability to expand vendor-based to ensure effective and timely sourcing.

• Register new supplier into SAP when necessary.

• To follow the Safety Rules and Regulation set refer to Occupational Health & Safety Policy and Environmental Policy by the yard

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Bachelors Degree

• 2-3 years experience in relevant position at marine or offshore industries

• Willing to move to Batam.

• Initiative, self-motivating and willingness to accept work under pressure

• Excellent English & computer literate

• Experience with ERP system (SAP) for MM module.

• Able to communicate & work with internal team

• Have good negotiation skill

• Having goods product knowledge ability.

• Can adapt to any kind of work or environment alterations.
