Position Summary
The Sales Supervisor is responsible to generate sales in given geographical area by managing relationships with all stakeholders, namely sub distributors, retailers and key farmers, and responsible for creating high impact demand generation activities. Including sales in to Sub distributors in given area as well as maintaining regular communication with all other internal and external stakeholders. Possess ability to handle all complaint with the required support from other stakeholders and develop “FMC” as a brand in given area of operation.
Location:South Sumatra - Jambi
The Role
Managing Channel (Sub-Distributors & Retailers)
Regular communication and meeting with assigned sub distributors and Retailers
Monitor sale in and sales out to assigned sub distributors & Retailers to make sure target achieved
Handle all complaints from assigned sub distributors and Retailers
Ensure to communicate all incentive programs announced by company
Creating high impact demand creation activities
Responsible for achieving quality and quantity targets for FFA (Demo, Farmer Meeting & Farmer Visit, Channel Visit) through assigned field consultants
Assign demand generation activity targets to field consultants as per marketing guidelines
Monitor and provide feedback to field consultants regarding demand generation activities
Travel with field consultant to execute demand generation activities as per the defined protocol
Conduct market assessment and market intelligence and communicate with the Manager to be further communicated to Business Managers on a weekly basis.
Responsible and actively promote FMC products with branding in line with marketing strategy in respective areas.
People
Manage team of field consultants, provide them with regular guidance, and monitor their performance
Work with Technical Support Executive to train field consultants, create activities to train farmers and retailers and manage technical complaints
Visit activities created by field consultant to understand product performance, farmer, and market situation - to enable intelligent discussions with sub distributors and key retailers
Remain present during all key, big demand creation activities like big farmer meetings, retailer gathering, etc.
Communication and reporting
Communicate regularly with other teams in area to understand their plans and market situation.
Report Sales in, Sale out and inventory at sub distributor and key retailer level through Kongsi system.
The Candidate
Bachelor graduate Agriculture or Marketing
Minimum experience of at least 3 years in the Agrochemical industry, field work experience in an agricultural company, sales and demand generation area is must.
English communication ability.
Negotiation and communication skills.
Has experience in handling project management and work cross functionally
Evidence of a strong stakeholder management skillset
Has experience in different area of operation/geography of Indonesia
