Security Engineer - IT

Job Description -Monitor systems for security issues -Install and update security software -Check for vulnerabilities in networks and systems -Respond to security alerts and incidents -Create and maintain security policies -Conduct regular security audits -Work with IT teams to improve system security -Train staff on basic security practices -Other related tasks as assigned Job Requirement

• Minimum 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles.
• Hands-on experience with penetration testing and vulnerability assessment.
• Experience in implementing security policies and risk management strategies.
• Knowledge of cloud security and security architecture in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or CISM.
• Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security.
• Familiarity with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools and incident response.
• Understanding of encryption, PKI, and access control mechanisms.
• Awareness of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR.
